Our Mooresville office opened in October 2017.
Periodic services days/hours and frequency are tailored to meet each individuals needs and Individualized Support Plan. Our staff work hard to ensure the individuals are involved in their community and have the supports need within their home to allow them to aspire to their dreams and goals.
They also provide Supported Living which provides individuals we serve the opportunity to live on their own with additional support based on their needs.
Kelly Butner, Program Director
Kelly is a graduate from Mitchell Community College, completed the Associates Degree program in Human Services in June 2011. Her career began in 2007 while working in the IDD field as a Direct Support Professional at Home Care Management. Kelly started working at Inspiration for Aspirations as a Direct support professional and quickly transitioned from a DSP to the staffing coordinator. Kelly’s leadership and communication skills helped promote her to the Director of Operations for Inspiration For Aspirations. Kelly continued her education by going to school at Ashford University and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in December 2016. Kelly became a member of the ASM team as the Program Director on October 1st, 2017 for the Mooresville office.
Erica Byrd, Staffing Coordinator
Erica prides herself in her dedication to the needs of individuals the company services. Erica graduated in 2016 with AAS degree in Human Services Technology and an AAS degree in Human Services/Developmental Disabilities. While attending college, she was awarded the North Carolina Organization for Human Services Outstanding Student Award for her humanitarianism and academic achievements, and was recognized as Student of the Year by the Council for Standards in Human Services Education. She also received the Gaston College, 2016 Human Services Student of the Year Award. Erica began her career in the IDD field, working for Inspiration for Aspirations, LLC in March 2016, as an Office Assistant and PRN Direct Support Partner. She was promoted to Operations Coordinator in September of 2016, where she gained valuable experience working directly under the Director of Operations. In her spare-time, especially weekends, Erica enjoys spending time with and caring for her family, and she is dedicated to making every moment count.
Lynn Maranville Martin, QIDDP, QMHP, Advocacy/Special Projects/Programs Development Consultant
In February of 2010, Lynn founded Inspiration for Aspirations, LLC, (IFA) where she has been the CEO for the last 7 ½ years. Lynn was previously a Program Supervisor at Easter Seal UCP and a Parent Educator for 8 ½ years with The Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center (ECAC). Desiring to return to what she loves, advocacy and fostering community supports/programs for individuals with unique abilities, Lynn decided to merge IFA with Small Miracle, LLC, on October 1st, 2017. She has over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and is trained in many modalities of support and service. Lynn is the proud mother of Adam and Logan and has been married to her husband Glenn for 31 years. She is currently developing a non-profit The LoganNoah Foundation, which will provide supports & advocacy to two very important special populations, people with IDD and elderly senior citizens. This foundation is in tribute to her son Logan and her mother Donna who live unique needs and abilities. She is an Elder of her church Fieldstone Presbyterian Church and leads the missions team. She has and currently sits on many local and state committees, in an effort to better the lives of special populations. Lynn is a graduate of the University of Phoenix where she achieved a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Minor in Business Management and was awarded Magna Cum Laude.
Shelby Vissering, Qualified Professional
Upon graduating with a Bachelors degree in psychology from East Carolina University with a minor in child development and family relations, Shelby pursued a career in human services. To get her foot in the door, she applied for a job as a direct support professional at Inspiration for Aspirations. Wanting to move forward in the field, Shelby transitioned to an Associate Professional and later a Qualified Professional. Shelby has transitioned to A Small Miracle LLC with the rest of the Inspiration for Aspirations team where her dedication, hard work and passion for helping individuals reach their full potential will continue.
